Its been quite some time since I last wrote anything, but life's been quite uneventful.  Well there was Cannes Film festival last year, which was an experience; though I never found the time to sit down and share that with you.  Never the less, here I am, fingers to keys about to bark on what could be an adventure of a life time. And life changing....we'll soon see.  September I received a reasonable pay check and decided after two and a bit years of saying 'I'm going to go to America' I clicked onto the Virgin airline website and booked my ticket. That now done, it was set in stone that I would no longer be a 'sayer'. Its time to see what the land of opportunity has in store for me. But with two months to go, no excitement was there, what's the point of getting excited for something so far away.  Now with only 7 days to go, I'm feeling something. Oh what a Night. Hufff!

So the other day it was arranged that Sat night we girls will head out. I wasn’t going to be in London town, but if it was all going ahead, I’ll come back for sure. Fast forward to Saturday afternoon and I'm packing my things for my return to London. Text to see if it was all going ahead, as I didn't want to get an early train if nothing was happening. I got the thumbs up for after 9pm and told that I’d get a call at 6pm. I gathered my bits and made my way to the train for 6:17pm. Couldn’t get through to my friend, but thought I’d better get on the train. Finally got a text that they didn't want to head out late and they might head to their local, which is nowhere local to me. Slightly fuming inside as I could have stayed where I was, but due to many events in my life, I geared myself up for this night out so felt let down. But hey! Let’s not show it. Just My Luck.

I manage to book in to have a voice reel produced the other week. And how excited was I? It’s something thing that all actor need to have and something that is often requested (so a show reel, but that one’s a little harder to produce). So seeming all I had to do was get the script and record...simples! Not quite. I searched many companies and settled for one that had a good price and happy reviews. BOOKED! Though, unlike many others, this company didn't provide you with any script. It seems that casting directors are able to tell where you've had it done by the pieces used. Not to worry, this gives me some work to do. All pieces sorted almost the same day I booked, I now patiently waited for the week to come so 'say some tracks'. Now we come to the night before and I'm having ear ache, which comes with a slight sense of a sore throat. I try to ignore it, but deep down I know I'm ill.
